Museums as a whole.

ONE MUSEUM is an independent project by Vladimir Opredelenov and Yulia Buzina, dedicated to understanding museums as holistic cultural institutions and developing approaches to their creation, management and long-term evolution.

Research & Practice

We connect professional experience, critical inquiry and hands-on museum work. Our work takes shape in books, original methodologies, analytical materials and educational programmes for museum professionals and cultural institutions.

Museum Maturity Matrix

The Museum Maturity Matrix is our self-assessment framework for examining key dimensions of museum activity, recognising institutional strengths and identifying priorities for further development.

What we explore

Museum creation and institutional vision · Museum management and continuous improvement · Digital transformation and cultural memory · Learning, research and professional exchange.
